Hodge Electrical & Mechanical Ltd began as Brian Hodge Electrical back in 1978 and initially focused on one off domestic installations and general electric works.
As time progressed, Brian Hodge gradually moved away from this type of work and began to specialise in electrical installations in new-build housing projects, building excellent relationships with some of the region’s largest house-builders and gaining a reputation for reliability and excellence.
In the early 1990’s, Brian’s son Kevin joined the family business and learnt his trade as an electrician. Kevin would later go on to train as a plumber and gas engineer, bringing new skills to the company. With this background and picking up on the need for a reliable multi-trade company upon which main contractors could depend, Hodge Electrical and Mechanical Ltd was officially formed in 2004.
Since this time, the company has grown based on our reputation for providing excellent quality work to meet deadlines. Our dedicated workforce, some who have worked for Brian for over 30 years, ensure that all installations are completed to meet the exacting standards of our prestigious clients.
Moving forwards and embracing emerging technologies mean that we are well versed in the latest domestic heating and electrical advances and can offer these alongside our more traditional installation offerings of Electrical, Plumbing, Heating, Gas, Oil and even wall and floor tiling.
